Briggs & Martin Co. was founded in 1964 when Bob Briggs and Charlie Martin, two longtime friends who had recently been laid off from Goodyear, decided to build something of their own. With a single backhoe, a set of tools, and a commitment to quality workmanship, they began installing water and sewer systems while serving municipalities and contractors throughout the Jackson County area.

More than six decades later, that same dedication continues to guide the company. Since purchasing Briggs & Martin Co. in 1995, Jamie Ley has expanded the company’s capabilities while maintaining the core values of honest work, dependable service, and doing every job right the first time.
